INFORMATION

Greetings to everyone,

PIP:     The first PIP last Friday was great.  It was well attended and some people offered new party ideas.  If you have any ideas for parties and want to help in the planning of those, let us know.  The more the merrier.  Currently we are having PIPs every quarter.  Spontaneous parties are always fun too, though.

KEYS:     A set of keys was found on the outside of the park, near one of the posts, on Periwinkle.  They are for a VW on a Bath & Racquet key ring.  (Perhaps someone from the Saturday party dropped them.)  I will hold onto the keys for a few weeks.

LOCKS:     Park users:  PLEASE be sure you properly lock the gate at all times.  It was not properly locked this morning – anyone could have gained access.  The padlock must be looped on all loops; please check the gate once you have relocked it.  This is important to our security and liability.

VARMINTS:     We all know how many raccoons we have around here; there numbers seem to be multiplying.  Please be sure your food waste is properly stowed in a garbage can with a secure lid.  (I am an offender of this – and will get a new can with a lid.)

That’s it!!  Enjoy the day.

PARTY IN THE PARK! 11.22.13

Yummy!!!

Friday, November 22nd:  PIP – it’s about Chocolate!  6PM – RSVP is required and to date we have a great turnout.  Hope you can make it.  (Remember:  bring your own beverage and perhaps a chair – nothing else required other than your sweet tooth!)  Please RSVP to Kate Carter no later than November 15th.  We have to get the chocolate makers making.

If you did not RSVP yet and want to join in, let me know today, please!  We have a fabulous turnout so far, and I am guessing we could share a few more pieces of chocolate!

Toys for totsWe will begin collecting Toys for Tots at the Chocolate Party and continue to do up to and including the December PIP.  Please remember – unwrapped NEW age appropriate gifts only.  See the list below for some terrific inspirations.  Let’s show the full extent of our CCCA generosity and have 100% participation.  All gifts are donated anonymously but do stay locally in our community.  It’s a feel good thing!

Toy collection starts at the PIP this Friday.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13TH – theme to be announced – continuation of Toys for Tots collection.  Toys can also be collected by contacting Kate Carter

Theme will be announced after the chocolate party!

PARTY IN THE PARK

October 25th Party in the Park!

RSVP to Kate by Oct. 18th

It might not feel like it but summer is over and it’s time to party in the park! OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE CORAL COVE CIVIC ASSOCIATION (and for this party their pets!) The monthly Parties in the Park (PIP) are back, and to kick off the new season, the Coral Cove Hospitality Committee is hosting a Howl’oween party Friday, October 25 starting at 6:00 pm.

Dress up your four-legged friends so they can prance their costumed paws into the park and strut their stuff for the pet costume contest. The winner, voted up by the party attendees, will receive a $25.00 gift card to PetSmart.

What to bring: An hors d’oeuvres to share, plus your own drinks and chairs. The hospitality committee will provide plates, napkins, silverware and cups. There is no cost to attend this party, which is open to all members of the Coral Cove Civic Association.

The Hospitality Committee has some fabulous ideas for future parties – dates to be announced shortly – including a wonderful holiday season of Coral Cove Civic Association giving to others!
